Located in the east of Singapore, this 4rm HDB Apartment has a overall minimalistic theme that comes with a soothing cosiness achieved by well positioned lighting around the house.
Hyper minimalist theme
As a standard for the theme of the house, grey tones were selected to be the overall base colour of the house. Without any distracting patterns or textures, the main focus of the house will be on the unique decors the clients have chosen for their cosy apartment.
Partitioned wall coated over with special effects painting adds a layer of texture without taking too much attention away from the rest of the apartment. This allows careful placement of TV wirings and electronics sockets for client’s needs.
Well-placed LED tracks right below the beams direct the guest’s awareness inwards as they traverse through the space.
Large tiles are chosen for the bathrooms to reduce joint lines and increase the grandeur of the space. A tiled up wall is also used to separate the vanity from the shower area.
With a simple bedhead and pelmet as the backdrop, ambient lighting can be easily fused into the design of the bedroom.
