4RM HDB APARTMENT
808B CHAI CHEE ROAD, SINGAPORE
This apartment features an overall stylish theme with plays of mild terrazzo patterns, neutral color theme and quirkiness in the shapes of the carpentry. This 4-room apartment, with its kitchen and master room walls hacked off, greatly enhances the potential for a unique layout, introducing visual interaction between the two spaces.
The moment you enter the apartment, you will be greeted by a wide island extending into the living room. Soft lighting on the walls highlighting the decors and portraits, coupled up with the beverage counter serving as the backdrop with a terrazzo backsplash.
Rose gold handles, knobs and lighting fixtures are evident throughout the apartment to maintain consistency of its design language.
Light gray colored laminate(EDL ESG5726N) is chosen as the cabinet base to give a neutral and light color tone to the whole space. It matches easily to the soothing color of the wood laminate(Admira QMG 3202 VD) selected for the island base.
600 x 600 mm terrazzo tiles (QUARRAZZO Q1) from Hafary were chosen to form the base texture of the bathroom design. Coupled with the curved edge of the cabinet and mirror, this adds an element of playfulness to the overall vibe of the bathroom.
A half height half serves both as a functional use to display common used items and act as a divider to contrast the feature tiles against the base tile in the common bathroom.
A full height wardrobe designed as a feature wall with paneling effect.
