4RM DBSS APARTMENT
747C BEDOK RESERVOIR CRESCENT, SINGAPORE
Situated in the east of Singapore, this apartment features elements of curve arches, light wood textures, gold accents and playful textures of terrazzos. With the simple use of loose furniture to complement the theme of the house, we’re able to bring in unique characteristics that are not often found in Singapore.
Extending the living room allows natural light to penetrate though the whole space.
As soon as you enter the apartment, you will be greeted by an interesting beverage counter right at the entrance before it directs you into the kitchen.
Opting for a golden accent for the worktop and backsplash, ALUM GOLD(JHX 206C) from ADMIRA laminate is chosen to create a striking distinction against the wooden cabinet.
Rose gold handles, knobs and lighting fixtures are evident throughout the apartment to maintain consistency of its design language.
Snippets of the space.
Acting as a feature backdrop, the wardrobe is both functional as a storage space and aesthetic as an entrance into the bathroom.
The curved corner is a neat way to smoothen the entryway and add additional storage to set aside loose items.
A curved arch, fluted glass is used as the entrance to guide the user into the master bathroom.
Making the bathroom a brightly lit area has always been a challenge for many designers, especially since privacy must be catered for bathroom areas without compromising on allowing natural light into the space. This can be achieved by using the fluted glass, which refracts light and create a sense of cover by distorting the view inside while allowing light to penetrate through. Monotone terrazzo tiles has been chosen to form the base of the bathroom design, while the space is made interesting by the wide contrasting white tiles as the backdrop of the vanity.
